Calculating the Value of Gravity
Our Accelerated Physics elective class’s Grade 11 students conducted a Free Fall lab experiment to determine the value of “G” and its acceleration due to gravity. It is the acceleration experienced by an object in free fall as a result of the gravitational force of the Earth. Various methods and formulas were used to calculate the value of gravity throughout the class.
