The school offers an extensive student activities program. Each club allows students to apply skills they have learned in the classroom in addition to developing “soft skills” such as collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Students are encouraged to create and administer their own clubs. Teachers act as mentors in these clubs.

MUIDS Broadcast Club is run by students with the goal of offering an opportunity for students to learn communication in professional media beyond the traditional classroom environment.
