Sports Day x Homecoming Day 2023
On March 30th and 31st, 2023, Mahidol University International Demonstration School hosted the annual Sports Day x Homecoming Day. The sports day was held on March 30th, 2023, and our MUIDS community had a great time cheering on their teams as they competed in rounders, basketball, and frisbee games on the school grounds.
Over 300 MUIDS Alumni returned to our doors on homecoming day (March 31st, 2023), as the PE department organized sports games in which they competed against current students and teachers. We had an opening ceremony throughout the morning in which the four houses paraded into the main field and took over the small field areas with a dance competition. After the opening ceremony, games of football, basketball, volleyball, and chairball were played throughout the day.
Congratulations to the Olympians team, who won first place, and to all the athletes who participated throughout the event, demonstrating that it is not only about winning, but also about teamwork and sportsmanship, which helped make the event a success!
