MUIDS11 Orientation Day
On Wednesday, 2nd August, 2023, the Mahidol University International Demonstration School organized an Orientation Day ceremony for 290 new Grade 10 students (MUIDS11) for the academic year of 2023-2024. The ceremony was held to foster the foundation for a successful academic journey and a sense of belonging within the MUIDS community as the new students and parents were introduced to insights of MUIDS’ core values and principles.
Emeritus Professor Dr. Wariya Chinwanno, Director of MUIDS, presided over the opening ceremony and welcomed the new students, as well as the school executives who joined to share information about the school's educational vision, curriculum, and policies. We were honored by Mrs. Titiya Xuto Chiemsuk, President of the Parent Auxiliary, who joined and gave a congratulatory speech.
Aside from that, the new students and parents explored a wide range of academic programs and extracurricular activities while getting to know our dedicated faculty who are committed to nurturing young minds. In addition, the Parent Auxiliary team has gathered parents for a meeting to share information on student preparation prior to the start of our new academic year.
