Students in Business Electives Visited the Bank of Thailand

On November 10th, 2023, 164 students from the Business electives in Grades 11 and 12 went on a field trip the Bank of Thailand. The trip was organized to help students bring their studies in their elective courses on fiscal and monetary policy, money and government interventions in the economy, and the impact of inflation on investments to life.

Students investigated the role of the Bank of Thailand in ensuring Thai economic stability. They also had the opportunity to visit the Bank of Thailand Museum, where they explored about the history of money in Thailand and saw exhibits of Thai currency dating back to hundreds of years. They went on to investigate the printing of Thai Baht and the gold and money vaults where Thailand’s gold reserves were once kept.
