Teamwork is the building block of success, a fact not lost on MUIDS students as they begin competing in House competitions. The House system at MUIDS is a way of organizing students into different teams for competitive activities throughout the school year.
Students are divided into one of four teams: Berserker, Titan, Phoenix, Olympian. This division encourages healthy competition amongst students while helping them discover a sport they’re passionate about.
All four teams compete in the following activities:
- Table Tennis
- Football
- Javelin Throwing
- Shotput
- Discus Throwing
- Basketball
- Badminton
- Volleyball
- E-Sport
- Chess
- Sprinting (60 and 80 meter races, running relay)
Each team competes for a different number of points, first place rewarding the highest number of points, fourth place the lowest. These points are tallied throughout the season before students compete in a winner take all tournament.
