Identification of Biomolecules Lab Class
The Grade 10 students in our biology lab class were thrilled last week as they studied the topic of biological systems, which are made up of four major classes of macromolecules.
By adding reagents and indicators while observing the reactions, the students had the opportunity to determine whether there was glucose, starch, protein, or lipids in the samples tested. These analyses are essential for disease diagnosis, food safety inspection, environmental monitoring and pharmaceutical development.
