On December 10th, 2022, over 80 students from the Mahidol University International Demonstration School’s Red Cross Youth Volunteer Club visited the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center located at Chonburi province.
The purpose of this activity was to develop habitats for marine animals, especially sea turtles and raise awareness about the problems they face. Apart from this, the students visited the seaside to clean the beach as a way to improve and conserve the habitats for sea turtles. They later went to scrub the turtle pond, which is a nursery pit for turtles that are waiting to grow up before being released back into the sea.
