Extracting Essential Oils Through Steam Distillation
Students in the Grade 12 Integrated Science class studied the processes for steam distillation essential oils from various plants. Students studied the methods and chemistry of the essential oils in order to capture the aroma of these raw materials.
Apart from this, they created their own blends using various extracts! Some of the amazing blends included cinnamon and lavender.
