One hundred students from MUIDS business electives participated in a recent field trip to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). Students were hosted by the SET staff who gave them informative presentations. Each one explained the importance of the S.E.T. to Thailand’s economy and helped MUIDS students better understand the concepts they learn in their classes.
Students also visited the SET “Investory Museum” for a guided tour, then engaged with several activities and interactive games, learning about the history of the S.E.T. and how it has shaped Thailand’s economy. Afterwards, students and teachers relaxed while exploring the S.E.T.’s “Mareuy Library.”
This is MUIDS’ 6th annual trip to the S.E.T., and as in previous years, students found the trip fun and informative. Many MUIDS students have a keen interest in business; several go on to earn business related degrees at Thai and International Universities.
To prepare them for this pursuit, MUIDS offers a wide range of business electives to students in all grades including Business Studies, Economics, Marketing, Management & Leadership, Accounting, and Finance and Company Evaluation. A big thank you to the S.E.T. staff for once again providing a fun educational experience for our students.
