Setting the Foundation for Future Success: Incoming Grade 10 Elective & Career Discovery Meeting

To support incoming Grade 10 students in making informed academic decisions, MUIDS recently hosted the Elective & Career Discovery Meeting, designed to guide students through their academic choices. Prior to the event, students completed a Career Test to identify their interests and strengths.

The session began with an overview of elective course options, followed by an insightful talk from Associate Prof. Dr. Somboon Jarukasemthawee, from the Faculty of Psychology, Chulalongkorn University and team, who provided valuable guidance on how to use Career Test results as a tool for selecting electives.

The event concluded with an elective booths fair, where teachers introduced their courses, offering students firsthand information to help them make confident and informed academic decisions.
