Science Meets Sustainability: Investigating How Worms Can Help Reduce Plastic Waste!

 

Our Grade 12 students took inspiration from international researches on worms consuming plastic and turned it into a hands-on experiment! Fascinated by the potential of these tiny creatures to help combat plastic pollution, they designed a study to observe how worms react to different types of plastic materials.

 

Through careful observation and data collection, they aimed to uncover new insights into sustainable waste management and innovative ways to reduce plastic waste.
