MUIDS at How to Better English 2025 
On February 27, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Singhanat Nomnian, Director of MUIDS, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and workshop of the How to Better English 2025 project, titled: “Hands-on Literature: Active Learning Strategies for English Language Development” held at the Teera Suthabutr Conference Room, 2nd Floor, 50th Anniversary Information Building, the event was organized by the International Affairs Division of Kasetsart University in collaboration with the Department of English Language Teaching, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University, and the Extensive Reading Association of Thailand.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Supapatpimol Simlee, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Kasetsart University.
The session was led by Dr. Narudol Semchuchot from the English Language Teaching Program, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University, and Mr. Ashley Quest from the Modern Languages Department, Mahidol University International Demonstration School, who was also a recipient of the Teaching Innovation Contest for English Reading in Primary and Secondary Education.
Conducted entirely in English, the workshop aimed to enhance English proficiency through interactive engagement with literature. The session focused on fostering critical thinking, analysis, and interpretation skills, while linking literary content with language and cultural contexts. Participants actively engaged in discussions, creative writing exercises, presentations, and lesson reflections, exploring ways to incorporate extensive reading into English language teaching.
วันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สิงหนาท น้อมเนียน ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนสาธิตนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้รับเกียรติให้เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดการบรรยายและอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการโครงการ How to Better English 2025 ในหัวข้อ “เพลินอ่าน วรรณคดี เพื่อให้มีพัฒนาการ(ภาษาอังกฤษ)” ณ ห้องประชุมธีระ สูตะบุตร ชั้น 2 อาคารสารนิเทศ 50 ปี
กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ร่วมกับสาขาวิชาการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ และสมาคมการอ่านอย่างกว้างขวางในประเทศไทย จัดการบรรยายและอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการโครงการ How to Better English 2025 ในหัวข้อ “Hands-on Literature: Active learning strategies for English Language Development” การอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “เพลินอ่าน วรรณคดี เพื่อให้มีพัฒนาการ(ภาษาอังกฤษ)” สำหรับนิสิตและบุคลากรมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ โดย ผศ.ดร.ศุภพัชร์พิมล สิมลี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดในพิธี
โดยเป็นการบรรยายและอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อมุ่งเสริมทักษะภาษาอังกฤษผ่านการอ่านวรรณคดีอย่างมีส่วนร่วม เน้นการคิด วิเคราะห์ การตีความ และการเชื่อมโยงเนื้อหากับบริบททางภาษาและวัฒนธรรม ผ่านกิจกรรม เช่น การอภิปราย การเขียน สร้างสรรค์ และการนำเสนอ พร้อมการถอดบทเรียนการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษผ่านการอ่านอย่างกว้างขวาง โดยนายกสมาคมฯ และประธานสาขาวิชาการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ สาขาวิชาการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการอบรมการอ่านวรรณคดี โดย Mr. Ashley Quest อาจารย์โรงเรียนสาธิตนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ผู้ได้รับรางวัลนวัตกรรมด้านการอ่าน ปี 2568
