MUIDS Architecture Field Trip

On 22 January 2025, Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS), led by the Design, Visual & Performing Arts Department, organized an Architecture Field Trip for Grade 10 Architect and Communication Arts elective students at the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).

During the visit, students participated in a hands-on Product Design Workshop, using rattan to create a handcrafted lamp, gaining practical insights into the architectural and design process. The experience was further enriched by a guided tour of the school’s facilities, including 3D printing studios and other advanced design laboratories .

 

This inspiring field trip supported experiential learning, creativity, and exploration of future pathways in architecture and design.
