A big round of applause for our Grade 11 students, Kunlanatta Wisukhowong (Tanya) and Wirin Chinthammit (Plearn)! Their innovative project on extracting cellulose from durian peels to create surgical sutures has earned them a spot among the top 10 teams in the Less Plastic TU Competition, hosted by Thammasat University.
The competition challenges participants to address healthcare needs by repurposing waste materials, promoting sustainability in healthcare, earning them the opportunity to present their project and findings to expert judges from environmental and medical fields.

หัวข้อในการแข่งขันนี้เพื่อเปลี่ยนวัสดุที่จะกำจัดทิ้งมาเป็นสิ่งที่เป็นประโยชน์ทางการแพทย์ โดยทัญญ่าและเพลินได้เสนอหัวข้อ สกัดเซลลูโลสจากเปลือกทุเรียนมาทำเป็นไหมสำหรับเย็บแผล ซึ่งนับเป็นไอเดียและนวัตกรรมที่แปลกใหม่ น่าสนใจ และเป็นประโยชน์ทางการแพทย์เป็นอย่างมากในอนาคต
