Empowering Our MUIDS Team on Professional Development Day

 

On October 3rd, 2024, MUIDS hosted a Professional Development Day (PD Day), bringing together faculty and staff for a day filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

 

The faculty session was honored by Dr. Jetsada Arnin, Acting Assistant to the President for Education, who delivered a compelling talk on “AI in Education: Policy and Practice.” Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mark Stephan Felix contributed with a talk titled “From Practice to Research: Identifying Possible Research Opportunities.” The afternoon featured workshops on key topics such as Classroom Management, Diversity and Inclusiveness, Current Issues in Education, and Designing a Transdisciplinary Unit for Community Impact.

 

For the staff session, Asst. Prof. Chaiwat Wong-Arsa led an enriching discussion on “Building Excellence through Positive Thinking.” The session also featured engaging activities like Work Style Analysis for Effective Teamwork and The Magic of Gratitude: Energizing the Workplace for a Happier Environment.

 

The day fostered strong collaboration and strengthened teamwork bonds throughout the MUIDS community!
