Celebrating the 1st Thai Speech Competition!

The Thai Studies Department is proud to share the success of our first speech competition, held on May 14th, 2025, at the Seminar Room, under the theme “Reflections of Thainess in Proverbs and Sayings.”

 

The event was a great success, with students delivering powerful speeches rooted in research and Thai culture. It was heartwarming to see so many classmates showed up to cheer and support the speakers. Each student impressed with their poise, research, and heartfelt delivery especially our winners, who tied Thai historical knowledge beautifully into their speech.
