Applied Sports Science in Action

Grade 12 students at Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS) engaged in hands-on learning by practicing ankle taping techniques in their Applied Sports Science class

As part of the Prevention and Care of Sport Injury unit, students learned practical strategies to prevent and manage common athletic injuries
Since ankle sprains are among the most frequent sports injuries, understanding proper taping techniques is crucial for supporting athletes and promoting a safe return to play
The taping helps stabilize the ankle and reduce excessive inward or outward rolling of the foot
