MUIDS Meets MB

On 28 January 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singhanat Nomnian, Director of Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS), warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Panadda Boonserm, Head of the Molecular Biosciences Group at the Institute of Molecular Biosciences (MB), Mahidol University, Ms. Natthanit Srimaserm MB Secretary, Ms. Chanikarn Boonchuay, Secretary, Academic Conference Steering Committee, and Ms. Potchaman Sittipaisankul Assistant Secretary, Academic Conference Steering Committee.

 

During the meeting, they discussed academic collaboration to develop hands-on workshops and training courses for MUIDS students, including a One-Day Workshop “MB Science Club” focusing on PCR techniques and laboratory safety practices, and Five-Day Biomedical Science Training Program with three specialized tracks CRISPR/Cas9 (Genome editing for beta-thalassemia), Cancer Research (Cell culture and molecular techniques), and Thalassemia Diagnosis (Clinical and laboratory methods)

 

This collaboration aims to expand authentic laboratory learning and inspire future pathways in biomedical sciences for MUIDS students.
