On August 13, 2025, MUIDS welcomed representatives from NOVACELIK Energy & Service Company to explore impactful collaborations on energy efficiency and sustainability. The discussion centered on how natural daylight and ventilation can be leveraged to support a modern, university-level research environment. Plans include optimizing lighting and HVAC systems, deploying advanced energy management solutions, implementing a comprehensive campus sustainability dashboard, and ensuring that all initiatives align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The meeting also explored the possibility of expanding MUIDS’ Smart Classroom project into a full Smart School model—paving the way for an energy-aware, data-driven, and sustainable future in education.
